Did you recently buy a new car? Want to keep it looking new? This is exactly what our client did with their brand new Tesla Model 3!
Upon arriving at client's location, we noted that the car is black. And because we know how soft and imperfect Tesla paint is based from detailing forums (Thanks AG!), we kinda know what to expect! During inspection, we journaled the amount of swirls and bit of watermarks and some scratches by the trunk too.
If you're thinking that your new car is protected as you drive from the dealership, think again! Imagine that the base trim of this sedan already costs $35k you would think they would throw some paint protection, right?
Check the video below and you'll see ZERO protection on the paint after initial rinse of water. Again this is a NEW car. Water is just sitting on top of the paint. Overtime this would result to paint issues (i.e. watermarks, rust, pitting, etc.) which will be expensive to repair.
This is a side by side comparison of how a paint with and without protection looks. Your car should look like the one on the right! The beads are small and tight. And no, it's not just how the hose setting is spraying water lol!
One more video showing how your NEW car looks like. See those swirls or spiderwebbing? Ask your dealer not to wash your car.
Scratches were removed too!
Enjoy the rest of the photos!
