In today's detail, we did a winter prep + an interior detail for this Kia Optima.

Client dropped off the car and pointed out the big scratch on the hood. Quickly inspected and confidently told the client - no problem! Normally it's not part of the winter prep detail but we did a spot correction for the client to add more value with the detail!
Further inspection revealed a number of stone chips, some forming rust already. Chemical decon revealed iron particles on the paint. Tar and tree sap bonded on the paint which we addressed.
On the inside, one thing to highlight with cars being driven in Michigan or this part of the world where they use road salt during winter is that it stains the carpet pretty badly. Besides the stain, the road salt forms a crust that's not only unsightly but will potentially ruin your carpets. We were able to remove this almost completely as we are very cautious on the edge for the very last bit.
