During this time of the year, we offer a premium wash and wax wherein we do a rinseless wash, paint smoothener then apply a nice coat of spray wax or Sio2 sealant. Ceramic coating is out of the rotation as the ambient temperature won't be warm enough to cure the chemical.
And this is what we exactly did in today's detail! Another luxury car, Volvo XC90 T6! It is truly a luxury car from the body line curves to the high end walnut paneling (no, I did not know that - Google told me that!) inside!
During inspection, noted that the paint had some uncommon roughness especially on the hood and passenger side. Looking at it closely, it wasn't really tar as my tar remover is not dissolving it, clay mitt was not taking it so I had to go to basics and use the clay bar. It was tough and long process especially at 30°F.
Still on the outside, the paint has a lot of swirls when the light hits it. Plus some dull spots too. Paint definitely needs a refresh come Spring time.
On the inside, besides the typical sand, dust, food bits, the driver side area have some blue jean transfer, which we removed and sealed.
Anyway, here are the before photos!
And the after!
