Interior Detailing - Toyota Sienna

Updated: Apr 18, 2019

Christmas is near! In today's detail, this is one of the client's surprise to his wife for Christmas. They have toddlers and dogs. Can you now picture the interior of the car? Oh plus, they hauled dried leaves too!

Doing the detail in below freezing is interesting! It was my first experience chemical foam freezing! So here I was scrubbing the rubber mats down with my typical chemical and brush (I would have power washed it if it wasn't this time of the year) and by the time I'm vacuuming the foam, it was slush! I didn't mind it at first but by the second or third mat I noticed that the suction power of my vacuum was decreasing! Looked at the vacuum tool and there's frozen slush inside! I was just at the beginning of the detail I couldn't finish the job without the vacuum!

I said to myself, though the suction has decreased I could still vacuum. Or I can ask the client for some boiling water to melt the frozen slush. Or wait, I have my steamer with me! Grabbed it, plugged it, waited, then blasted the tool with fresh steam!

For the rest of the detail, I did this combo of steam and vacuum instead of chemical and vacuum. Turned out great!

Here is my client's photo in Google:

Enjoy the rest of the photos!
