Parking under a tree? We received an emergency call from someone in needing of help with his vehicle. He parks his car under a tree for some shade. Unfortunately, a lot of tree sap landed and BONDED to the paint. While we were able to safely remove the sap, you can see from the photos how it etched through. Without a proper layer of wax, sealant or ceramic coating, the tree sap ate through the clearcoat. While he saved money not getting the vehicle professionally detailed for several years, he will have to pay a body shop thousands to repaint all horizontal panels.
